Re: Hasbro Headmaster Blaster

It looks a little weird in alt mode, but the bot mode looks pretty nice. I would buy it.

Re: Hasbro Headmaster Blaster

The base/DJ booth mode is totally unexpected, but honestly it's an intriguing and brilliant play idea to go along with his cassette-bots.

However, I find it odd that there is a "base mode".

The gimmick for this line is Headmaster/Powermaster.

Blasters head will come off and transform into a small robot who then can use the base mode.

What I find cleaver is that legend class buzzsaw coming out later clearly looks to be able to interact with Blaster (or The Soundwave version you know will come out too) but is part of CW.

Re: Hasbro Headmaster Blaster

So in the past Hasbro has told us that they weren't going to do headmasters and that playsets were a thing of the past. Now we are getting a headmaster playset of a character who was never either one in the past.

I have totally lost any ability I might have had to predict Hasbro but I do sense a change in their thinking around product development.

Re: Hasbro Headmaster Blaster

I like the idea of him becoming a DJ booth for his headmaster. My guess is they will make further bases like PM prime and they will attach to metro like the core combiners did in G1

I just hope he's not too big to fit on the classics shelf.

I wouldn't think so. I'm hoping he is a voyager size personally
