You are right it is. In that particular series the original writers were basing these of the G2 designs of the 90's. Because they were Autobot protoforms held in stasis for many years and were converted to "evil" the flipped it upside down if memory serves. The Car Robots Black Convoy (RiD Scourge in America) has the same stamp as well on the toy

RID Ruination & RID Scourge had an upside down G2 Autobot symbols as their faction symbol. Since they were originally all Autobot protoforms corrupted by RID Megatrons spark.

i can see now on the tail fin of the helicopter the logo is upsidedown too.

I do like how the guns all combine to make a super weapon type of thing. I wonder if the previous hasbro combiners weapons can do that, I don't think they could.
