Yeah your display cabinets are awesome too dude.
I have too many (1000-1500? including lots of g1 doubles and plenty of mildly broken ones) but don't really have much Armada, Energon, Beast Machines, late beast wars so it keeps the numbers down a tiny bit. I also only go for newer exclusives I REALLY like (i.e. clear blue mirage) as for that kind of money I'd rather go after rare or mint/sealed G1 stuff.
Oh, and also I have most of it on display, except for my 600 or so broken ones gotten on the cheap, all my g1 boxes and mib etc. in my closet, and various doubles in better or worse (often worse) shape. I have a big loose g1 vintage display, new figs display, and boxed stuff from the last 5 years or so display, I'm not completionist with newer stuff though.
