Passing of the TF legacy to a chosen one :)
I know people don't really like to talk about this. However I want to see people insight on what they will do with there collection when go on to a better place when it does comes. Will you pass it on to your kids so they will continue the legacy, buy a place and open a TF museum, bury them with you , and etc.

Collector forever Dude! (that said, I have about 3000 comic books, which I stopped collecting years ago, sitting in an attic on P.E.I. slowly deteriorating). Realistically though, the collecting will probably slow down, then dwindle out altogether. At that time I'll be fine with it. Not sadly, feelings towards things change. Right now, I want ALL Transformers!

I will be buried with them and take them into the afterlife as believed by the ancient Egyptians!....otherwise I leave them to my brother or kids if I have any and they will probably sell them off the first chance they get.

If I still have all these toys when I'm an adult and I haven't sold them off to pay off serious debts incurred by my irresponsible spending, I would hope to pass them on to my children to do with what they wish.

Re: Passing of the TF legacy to a chosen one :)
I do see myself having them as long as i'm alive, this is not some fad I picked up after Bay movie. I have been doing this hardcore since 1986 (since the OTHER movie =P). If anything, I will tell my kids or grandkids, if they don't want them after I pass away, they are free to sell them and use the money for their own goals and dreams. But some stuff WILL have to come with me.... if you have to guess, you don't know me.

Wouldn't it be neat if my son ended up a collector as well?? That sure would be something, but I guess I always figured I would have to sell my collection to send my kids to college, or to pay off my hooker and crack debt.

I joke with my kids that this is their inheritance... even though they do nont know what the word means.

This! Truthfully enough, I've always loved the damn things, but there was 7-year absence... oh well!
