It's a easy change so I put this under Minor change catalog.
After the change
Pro: Leader class Grimlock dino mode will look significantly better, it will more like a real T-rex instead of an eggplant.
No impact to the robot mode.
Con: He will become parts-former, arms will become plug and play, it doesn't really impact the play, because the plug in socket is very tight in robot mode already.

With other AOE dinobots
now I will show how it's done in 3 steps.
1) Remove the legs from body, it's easy cut if you don't mind making permanent change to it, or you can do like what I did in the picture, just remove those 2 small metal sticks in the red circles, then the legs can be pulled away.
2) Add the plug-and-play socket in dino body. I used these common parts from bionicle heroes.
This is what looks like in the T-rex body.
no need to do anything on the legs, just plug in that small stick from bionicle heroes, cut the stick so the length fits.
3) In order to make it more like this setting in movie.
I moved the arms to a lower position with a screw.
Done.
So in 3 steps Grimlock changed from this
to this
Grimlock fears no one, not even myself!
