Guest voice actors, maybe expand the scope?
Before anyone says "But it's TFCon!", I know!
But I was thinking that since the show becomes the 80's Toy Show on the sunday, why not invite some voice actors from other franchises?
Like maybe from Thundercats/Silverhawks, or He-Man/She-Ra?
I'm sure lots of us would love to meet the original Lion-O, or He-Man.
Has anyone else thought this?

-Buster Jones...it'll be a blast!!! Sorry, couldn't resist.
-Ernie Hudson
Wouldn't it be awesome to have them both at TFCon?
One was in G1, the other on TF: Prime, plus they both played Winston Zeddemore, and Ernie would also be a big draw for the 80s Toys Show the next day.

Re: Guest voice actors, maybe expand the scope?
There is a precedent for inviting guests from other franchises at TFcon. Eric Bauza was there last year. Usually, the TF voice actors have other works they also love to talk about. So, I might argue that it is better to get a Transformers voice actor so you have your cake and eat it too.
A big thing with getting voice actors is that you go through the pool of all affordable voice actors who are popular, but then so many can't even make it anyway. So the number of people to choose from isn't huge. At TFcon's Organizer's Panel, Colin talked about the way they like to "spotlight" each guest. So, you have to consider, how many guests can you get before it becomes oversaturated? Having more is nice, but so is getting to really know each of them individually, which you won't be able to do if the only interaction with them is during a long autograph line.
Personally, I would lean more towards having another Transformers voice actor first, but perhaps adding other event content from other franchises. Maybe some kind of GI Joe trivia one year, another year a Gundam Wing panel, etc.

Gregg came in 2008. 2012 might be a little early to invite him back, but you never know.

There ARE voice actor guests and a non stop schedule of events starting Friday that runs until the end of the day Sunday. http://www.tfcon.ca/tfcon-2011-event-schedule

I understand this, and I don't mean for there to be a plethora of guests each year. Frankly I find that the usual 2-3 guest format is just about perfect! Like you said, it really gives one a chance to get to know the actors, and it's not a impersonal as just a simple "conveyer-belt" style autograph line.
And while it's true that most voice actors have done multiple roles; ex: I had Gary Chalk sign my New Adventures of He-Man, and MOTU 2002 sets along with BM, EN, & CYB sets.
But what I'm getting at is to have someone like say, Scott McNeil; who has multiple credits to his name, and someone like Larry Kenney the voice of the original Lion-O, or John Erwin the original He-Man. So we get our TF VA fix along with some spice from a completely separate franchise.
