Re: Death Battle: Starscream VS Rainbow Dash

Cartoon physics will always beat out sci-fi physics. Mainly because cartoon physics usually defy logic and tend to be inconsistent while sci-fi physics does what it can to be logical and consistent. Its why Wile E. Coyote always lost to Roadrunner.

As wacky as G1 Transformers were from time to time, for the most part they would qualify as having sci-fi physics more-so than cartoon physics.

This, on the other hand, did at least try to bring more or less plausible numbers to to the cartoon physics in order to bridge the gap.

I applaud them, and agree with the results. Still, I am surprised that they didn't have Starscream's spark try to take over Rainbow Dash, considering they did mention Starscream took control of a purely organic Human (referencing some fairly obscure material to even many Transformers fans, no less). Oh well, I think that was cut for time, or because there wouldn't be a clear winner at that point.

Plus, eating and digesting a spark fits in well with cartoon physics. And, adds insult to injury when Rainbow Dash craps Starscream out.

Starscream just got his ass-plate handed to him by a pony.
