Being a veteran of both, I think Dak's customizing class is much better than BotCon's. BotCon's is more of just a way to get another exclusive, only this one you have to assemble yourself. It's more like a lesson in what those little kids in China do everyday, putting together toys. While Dak's shows you what you'd really have to do to make your own customs out of store-bought figures.

Those look fantastic, everyone! Now I'm really hungry for a Swerve. This actually has me very interested in the process of determining a project for the custom class.
Is there a lot of research done before hand? What's it like to gather all the necessary figures to be used by the class? Are the customs that the class make based on a custom that Dak and crew created before?
I would love to hear the guys discus this process on Canadian Slag. Unless of course it's a trade secret.
