Nobody is gonna know the answer for your question because the damn toy started releasing this week.

Since a majority of fans are going out to get this, giving an illusion of limited quantity. Also, Optimus Prime is a pretty popular character, so they will make a lot.

Re: MP Optimus & MP Thundercracker Decisions

MP Thundercracker is back in stock for shipping in the US. They've recently raised the price to $75 but it ships free. Might be worth it for those who can get it shipped to a US address and are tired of wasting time and gas looking for it. I broke down and ordered one, who knows when/if he'll even show up at my end-of-the-supply-chain local store.

Sounds like they have both hit coast to coast (well Ont to BC anyways). Might have to go a hunting later today.
Got none here in Freddy. If I can get the cash together, I'm getting them both, but right now, I've still got Red Alert and Sideswipe waiting for me and just bought a bunch of GDO deluxes and Scouts.

With MP thundercracker off the toysrus.ca website I could only hope to get both now camping away at the local TRU's.

Re: MP Optimus & MP Thundercracker Decisions

Well I'm only really interested in Optimus the rational part of my head seems to think it's better to simply wait for the hype to die down, and hunt for him then…but the paranoid part of my brain is thinking it might be too late by then.

Re: MP Optimus & MP Thundercracker Decisions

I already have both Takara MP-10 and Starscream.

As much as I love the changes to Screamer, the seeker love left me years ago so I have no desire to own the same mold in 6 different colors (especially for $70-$140 a pop depending on if it is Hasbro or Takara putting it out). That makes Thundercracker a total pass for me.

MP-10 is great and is the best version of G1 Optimus Prime. I hope to get the TRU version to keep in truck mode in my display.
