TRU reduced the boys section in order to sell more ...books. A manager told me that books have a higher profit margin. I'm also sure that TRU just hasn't been ordering as much Hasbro toys as they did in the past so they need to fill up the store with something else.
At this rate, they may as well call the store Books R Us.

Well, I think adult toys has even higher profit margin, so why not ToyRus start selling those? It can still use ToyRUs name, just mention "18 + only".

To be fair, we are all cheapasses who only buy stuff when it's on sale. Pretty sure that cuts into their profits.
