Scourge was supposed to arrive today, but the order hasn't moved an inch. They emailed last week about payment issues, which was simply because my card expired & I had to update with new info. I didn't call the number they provided but now I am slightly wary of my order getting cancelled.

Likewise, my Road Rocket totally missed her August delivery date and is in limbo as well. After all this waiting I hope I don't get screwed over, this is my first time preordering from Walmart and it's not what I'd call a fun wait.

Did you placed the orders to be shipped to your home or for a pick up instore?

The latter is extremely slow and is usually a couple days up to 2 weeks late of the estimated delivery

Something I didn't notice until today when it comes to Walmart online orders:


you can't cancel an order that's in progress but not fulfilled if you're more than 30 minutes after placing it.


Last week after failing to get a Hauler off the shelf I put in an order online with an estimated restocking/shipping date towards the end of October. I figured that I could easily find one in store before then and then cancel the order and if not this would be my plan B.


Today I got one off the shelf when I was in my local walmart but now I can't cancel the order and instead they explicitly say I have to wait for it to ship/arrive and then return it to a store.


So Walmart's policies are so backwards that if you just ask questions about an unfulfilled order they will cancel it on you because "you want a speedy resolution" but if you actually want an order cancelled you can't and have to go through the trouble of getting it and returning it to the store.


Dumb. But not entirely unexpected for Walmart I guess.

Strange I was able to cancel my scourge after I found it in store, but it wouldn't allow me to cancel clampdown. Both ordered at same time.

I thought they were quick to cancel if you phoned them for any reason. I need to cancel the three remaining deluxes I had on pre-order since I got Cosmos in the mail and the others in store... I was hoping to call and get that "solution" on purpose for once.

They might be. But when I checked the estimated wait time on the phone was like 20 minutes and I didn't have time for that because it was almost time to make dinner.


I just thought it was weird that they don't have a simple cancellation setup like Amazon does if your order hasn't shipped yet.


But really their whole system is profoundly broken and backwards.

I got an email telling me Cosmos had been delivered and looked outside and freaked out it wasn’t anywhere to be seen… then I remembered I got it delivered to WORK! (I had today off)

This is at least better than if they tried to deliver it on a saturday ><

Time to make dinner is my go to Time to call Walmart. I just put it on speaker and make dinner while on hold
