I was pleasantly surprised by a shipped notice for Wingfinger and Tracks last night. I didn't order a Scorp.

Got my $25 tracks today that was supposed to arrive in July.
Just fortunate to have gotten it, given all the crap fellow board members unfortunately had to go through with their orders being cancelled after they asked for a status update.

OH MY GOD I just called in to complain about my $24.97 Ptrex & Wingfinger being cancelled because I called in
Asked for a supervisor right away
Explained the sitch, he pulled up the cancelled order
(basically):
“OK well as the order status is Cancelled, there’s nothing we can do, we are not obligated to redo your order”
“Yes but I didn’t ask for it to be cancelled”
“The items were not available so order was cancelled”
“Why was I able to purchase them off the website if they weren’t available”
“Tracking shows the items were (stuck in processing or something) so that, plus your request for an escalation, is why the order was cancelled”
I told him I know other people who placed orders for these items at this price and started getting them recently “so really, I would have been better off not calling in to ask, and I would have received the items”
He said something else that went by a bit too quickly for me to catch, I asked him to repeat the last line cause I missed it, and the dude hung up on me (call went to follow-up survey)
The supervisor, hung up on me
Auto survey “did we resolve your issue today?” (2 for no, 2 for no, 2 for no…)

I guess they were being cautious, as my Scorpy and Wingy arrived this morning
Scorps has a giant white barcode sticker on the bottom which won't come off without damage, but at least it's not visible otherwise. The sticker has details about my order, so I'm hoping this isn't a new procedure, or at least they'll continue to have the courtesy of putting on the bottom of the box.

It sounds like you're right that the escalation is what triggered the cancellation. That's BS. You could of course try calling again, but have you considered snail mail?

This morning I used the website chat option, spoke to a rep who gave me a "go away" 5 buck e-voucher
I said listen, if we're gonna break it down to money, then what I'm actually out is 16 bucks (the difference from the sale price; two deluxes normally 32.97, ordered @ 24.97 apiece)
the chat rep ended the chat on me after asking multiple times "is there anything else I can help you with"
Started a 2nd chat, got a different rep
Got straight to the point, if they're gonna throw money at me, the difference in the savings (beyond what already issued) is 11 bucks
They agreed to assist me w/ adjusting 11 bucks off a future order (within 10 days), gave a ref number and everything
So honestly this the best outcome I think I'm gonna get given the circumstances; I took it and thanks very much
But man, I had to:
-> call in two times
-> initiate a chat two times
...to get 16 bucks
Too bad no wave 3s are available to order anymore; guess I'll grab two Ptrex?
Man watch them do the same thing to that order too

Good job, it's great to see you got what you were owed and things worked out. I'm sure whatever figs you get with the credit will be that much more valuable given the effort you went through to get them.
Although your "AAAAA" post was pretty funny...
