I'm happy I preordered the Takara version now. Though I still think there is a chance Amazon.ca might get them, I doubt a csr can easily get information about international distribution.

Once again hasbro fked canadians ....gee getting used to it ....that's why I also ordered the takara version rather spend my money that direction then give it to scalpers.

I do not see anywhere in his response that it is never coming to Canada. As it stands he simply stated that which was previously available information: it is a Walgreens exclusive. Hes doesnt out right state that is it never going to be released in Canada.

Apologizing is a standard PR blurb that you see in any correspondence with most retailers when they can not satisfy your demand. Doubt you'd see him say "Sucks to be You" or "Better luck next time."

Many figures in the past were exclusive to a particular retail outlets in the US but eventually made their way up to Canada.

More or less depends on how widely distributed it is in the US anyway. Apparently Walgreens has been stocking deluxes for the last month, so maybe they will be really common and easy to buy off ebay.

The retail price isn't great though, iirc my friend said Walgreens was charging either 17.99 or 19.99 USD for them.

I'm crossing my fingers that Amazon.ca or another etailer will get it for Canadians. I also don't want to pay premium prices for a main line type deluxe figure.

I'm not putting too much stock in the email response you got; The CSR didn't seem to really address the fact that there's no Walgreen's up here. It read more, to me, like someone just repeated "Walgreen's exclusive" at the CSR.

It does help, friend in the states trying to find it for me, looking too early is wasting his time, so this should help focus our search to a later date. Thanks!
