Re: Post Your Hauls
Not much to report yet.
Yesterday I got a filling redone, pain in the skidplate, I think I almost panicked a couple times.
Went down to Henderson Zellers looking for specific items, didn't find them, can somebody tell me why those five dollar Pirates LEGO sets are impossible to find now? I saw them ONCE, maybe TWICE at a few stores, now they've up and vanished.
Picked up Space Speeder from LEGO Space Police, plus I found a couple of DVDs for 2.99.
TMNT Fast Forward Future Shellshock and...
TMNT Ninja Tribunal! Awesome! Now I can finally see these episodes. Just need Season Two and the rest of Fast Forward and I'll have the DVDs of everything except Season Three, which for some reason still isn't out yet.
So, anybody seen those Pirates 5$ sets at a Sears or something in Winnipeg?

Re: Post Your Hauls
So, an old friend of mine popped in yesterday after seeing my collection on the weekend. I had a party and sent out a mass invite, and he popped in and was in awe. He came over last night with a tupperware container to donate to my cause. My Jaw dropped. He just gave me it. He said, in Yiddish, its called a Mitzva ( I think, He's Jewish). Its a good deed done, and this is my good deed to you. Unbelievable!
And for the record, he is fully aware of what they are worth. He just wanted to see them go to a good home, as he is moving in with his girlfriend in a different province.

WOW! That's a great friend.
I had one of my buddies give me a G2 Devastator, G2 Superion and G1 Megatron (Almost complete) for 4 beers, but that's a much better haul than that!
What exactly is the framed Prime picture?
Cheers!

Bought it off Ebay yesterday, can't wait to receive it... Popy GA-79 DX Dangard Ace, one of the very first transforming robots, circa 1977! Loaded with die-cast.

Marv had a friend in a graphic arts class who made that up and gave it to him. Pretty awesome!
I offered him Beers, but all he took was a Doctor Pepper! I'm hoping to take him out for a pint or two in the next couple weeks before he leaves though!

Re: Post Your Hauls
That is quite the impressive haul, crimbot! All that stuff for a Dr. Pepper? Sounds like a really great friend!

Picked up ROTF Legends Tankor at Wal-Mart on Tec. Rd in Windsor this morning. Awesome little figure.
