I'm debating if having told the wife how the math works is a good thing.

Oh we just finished putting up the tree. I'm hopeful since the wife found a Wheeljack for way less than the Toycon prices.

Y'know what I think Toycon (and any other convention for all that matter) needs? A "hang-out" area.

I'm talking like the big open area with the tables like TFCon had when it was still at the Doubletree. So when con-goers want to take a break, have a snack, chill with fellow attendees, and explore the toys they just bought, they can.

about meeting old friends, i just remembered saw my ex-best friend there a couple of times on previous visists. awkward but i just ignored the person.

Totally agree with you on how there should be a hangout area but I think the hotel is too small for that because I remember they used to offer tables of water (pitchers and cups) but now there's only one table (but that may mean that they are just cheap) and they installed doors to separate the convention area from the hotel...

Also, I think we should stop obstructing Protoman's table even though it's always great talking to him

I was there when they opened and I don't recall seeing any but then again, I'm not actively looking for them.

Hahahah I have no problem with that, it's not like I come to Toycon to MAKE money, it's a Montreal show I rather just talk and hang with you guys

Like I said before to Newt, one day when the house is 100% set up, I will make some kind of big hangout for us local fans.
