3rd Party Astrotrain
Saw this on TFW. Apparently it's Voyageur size. Can't wait to see how this is executed. I'm an Astrotrain junkie.

Re: 3rd Party Astrotrain
Oooh me likey. I would love a proper voyager Astrotrain. He is the one figure I really really want Hasbro to make but if 3p can pull it off better, hooray
The design looks nice.

Re: 3rd Party Astrotrain
Hopefully, it scales well with Generations 30th Blitzwing.

Re: 3rd Party Astrotrain
Looks like the G1 with elbows. Too soon to opt out but so far, not impressed. the alt modes do look very impressive. I like the "coal buggy" that they added to the end of the train. I am sure it will help hide the shuttle much better.
Personally I would liek to see the final product with less straight lines and with some nice curves.
I got my eye on you.

Re: 3rd Party Astrotrain
It definitely screams G1 aesthetic. But I think that's what they are going for. Coonsidering I can't afford the e-HOBBY G1 Astrotrain, this might fill the nostalgia gap for a toon accurate Astrotrain.
I like how it stays true to the G1 form but adds in a little extra like the little satellite attachment and coal buggy. But where is his BIG ASS GUN!

Re: 3rd Party Astrotrain
Well the reactions is just from a concept drawing. I would have to say I am happy to see that someone is trying to make a triple changer. What I don't like about this is the wheels on Astrotrain are just molded like his original G1 version. I want to see some functionability happening. I like the idea of the cargo bay. Neat idea for a shuttle and allows the nose cone to tuck away during train mode. Totally agree on the coal bucket idea. I hope this works out well. Gonna keep an eye on this one.

Agree, it's about time. Such a huge gap in everyones collection. Hopefully this will kick start a 3rd Party triple changer movement much like the dinobot influx we are seeing right now. But I'm hoping MP level and size Astrotrain *looking at Fans Toys*

Re: 3rd Party Astrotrain
There isn't much left in terms of Generations Triple Changers. We already have Springer, Sandstorm and Broadside taken care of in Voyager size. The Decepticons have Blitzwing and now we are venturing into Astrotrain. After that, all that is left is Octane for on screen triplechangers.
