Re: Chances of Metroplex in Canadian Costcos?

I am assuming that Costco Canada will stock the Canadian version.
I am going to try to snag a US version when I am down in Florida for Xmas.
I wasn't sure if I really wanted one because of the size. At this price how can I say no?

I would imagine Costco would need to abide by CDN laws?

if not fantastic! If they are the CDN versions I really do not care as the batteries will be pulled the moment I open the box.

You know, it might be the US one. Sometimes Costco items will have a bi-lingual sticker attached or included but the regular packaging is english-only... who knows, but for $90 I will probably pick that up.

Keep us posted folks, I can't stand going to Costco more than once a month. lol

Costco has carried "American" cereals with english only packaging, so it's not completely out of the question (and this is coming from the evils of Quebec)

I doubt it. Even Toys R Us has carried US carded Star Wars figures over the past few years.

Maybe not.

I remember buying that crappy Bayverse voyager class "RoboVision" Optimus Prime from my local Costco a few years back and it had no French on it whatsoever. In fact it had large blank stickers on the packaging that blocked out the US only promotions on the packaging as well as the "Available only at Target" sticker. There were no Targets in Canada back in 2007 so I'll have to agree with Protoman that Canadian Costco can get their stock direct from the US sometimes.
