I've been noticing that >10,000 yen seems to be the "notice" zone for customs these days.

Yeah I never got dinged importing 2 MP cars at a time. Guess I've learned my lesson. Would choosing a different shipping option have made any difference?

yah it was $32 for me too. wtf is the $10 Handling fee? shouldn't it be duty?

first time dinged. in comparison, my mp magnus wasn't even looked at. I had three on that order too.

I've got only dinged once with MP-13 with years of ordering toys from Japan.

Still a better deal than buying from a local or US stores back in the day. $32 isn't that considered what you could have paid if you are charge US$ these days.
