Best thing to do is play it and decide for yourself.
I've been playing a lot since I got it, and I love it. Take the time to fully configure your controller (whichever one you choose to play it) to how you like it. Then, the awesomeness will ensue.
Here a quote from the gamespot.com review that I think sums it all up perfectly:
