Warbotron and Quakewave...
So...
As a rule, I don't purchase 3rd-party figures, because Hasbro and Takara put out enough stuff, and... well you gotta draw the line somewhere.
My favourite combiner was always Bruticus, though, and I'm doing my best to hold off on pre-ordering all five not-Bruticus bots. I'm telling myself that I'll hold off until images of the finished product appear and I'll make my decision then.
Does anyone know about this Warbotron company? Their website only has a few details of the not-Bruticus set.
Also, is Quakewave REALLY as awesome as everyone says it is?

Quakewave is amazing, Masterpiece size and lot of die cast.

I too am trying to hold off on Warbotron. It is difficult.
Quakewave is that good.

Re: Warbotron and Quakewave...
Quakewave is excellent - as far as the feet issue above? maybe a bad unit and should contact CS from where you bought it.
His transformation is intuitive and really spot on.
The only scary part are his legs, can take some pushing to get them to slide in the first time.
As for Warbotron, wait for reviews.

Re: Warbotron and Quakewave...
I love my Quakewave, I would get it cause the possibility of Hasbro/Takara making an MP shockwave are almost none. They never got the rights for the original toy and thus the G1 mold is lost forever!

I don't think the quakewave feet is one single case. I read a few reviews on Chinese forums, quite similar situations. Although people does say after play multiple times, the feet will become loose and easier.

Re: Warbotron and Quakewave...
Honestly, I tried sticking to Has/Tak only Masterpieces but after seeing it in hand I broke down and bought one. It's third party, but definitely a masterpiece in it's own right.
