Cause it's a cool design of two robots turning into a vintage Pink and White ice cream truck? Why do any older TFs appreciate in value after a decade? Design, popularity and scarcity.

I'm going to guess that it was not well received by collectors so not many were collected. Kids that grew up on that movie are not young adults with disposable income. That means the toys they played with are not appreciating in value as interest increases by those trying to recapture their youth. Finally, it was a damn cool concept. I'm not a movie fan and hate most of the movie toys but I like the Ice Cream Truck Twins.



It boils down to a cool concept and kids growing up and wanting again.

I bought a used one today for $35 today off Kijiji. Great condition, but it's probably staying in alt form on my self forever.



I think FB marketplace, Kijiji and local shops are the way to go with this guy. The Ebay market on some figures gets crazy once they go at a certain price. Will take some patience to find.



Having said that there is a used one on Ebay right now for $33 CDN (+26 shipping) but the condition is questionable only because the seller might just not know how to transformer it. Could Maybe take advantage:
