Thank you walmart.

Here I am sitting watching reign on m3 and I'm also marvelling at my AOE dinobots. Now last night I was at a walmart and I saw the vovagers in their case and while looking at the box the stock guy saw me and asked me if I needed something out of the box. In a dumb move I told him I couldn't cause they are not surposed to sold. He then told me he never checks the boxes for stuff like that and thanked me. Then today I went to another walmart and the deluxe Dino's were out. So I threw my hands in the air and just snagged whatever dinobot I could grab. So thank you again walmart for making me get my dinobots early.

I'm going to wait until I see these in person, either @ my local Walmart or at a toy show to buy. Probably be at least until mid May before they're in my area anyhow.

Baysformers are so mass produced and available internationally that you are not going to be hard pressed to find any...

Getting stuff early is always a sweet deal though.

Re: Thank you walmart.

Why would you do that?
We all know as collectors know the box clearly states do not put out till may
3 of the 5 wal marts have the deluxes
No voyagers here yet or they are in the back
You should have jumped at the opportinity
All wal mart employées are clueless especially the onesthat work in the toy area !

Re: Thank you walmart.

I should have but I'm too honest. But in the end I got them anyway from another walmart.

Yeah I don't really get the mad scramble for movie toys at all.

Vangelus on twitter put it the best: in a few months we'll all be absolutely sick of seeing the same movie formers clogging the shelves.

Re: Thank you walmart.

Yeah, I like seeing the coverage and reviews, planning out which ones I'll get but ultimately I'm good to wait for some kind of sale or deal knowing there'll be ample supply for months and months.

Re: Thank you walmart.

From the pics alone I knew I wanted the new dinobots so getting them ahead of schedule is a benefit to me. The rest I can wait for. It's just the boxes said do not put out before may 14 and apperntly no one read that until after we started buying the toys. Cause once they hit the shelfs it's open season early or not.

Re: Thank you walmart.

Not that I'm complaining mind you. I'm just a little curious to what could happen to these stores if higher ups found out they put stock out early. Any ideas?

Re: Thank you walmart.

None of the 3 Walmarts around me have any AOE stock out. Also it's strange to me that these figures weren't released in March. When Mattel does it, say they have a movie coming out in the fall. They released those figures in May and if the movie comes out in March, they release them before Christmas. I've seen other movie toys come out 3-4 months or more in advance. Hasbro needs to get their slag together, someone over there isn't doing their job.
