Re: ToysRUs.ca Transformers Sightings and discussion

With new TFs Amazon JP can be weird sometimes. It took them a week or two for the third trainbot to come up for preorder even though Ami Ami and others had it. And sometimes initial PO for TFs sell out in a day but as long as it?s before the pre order cutoff date the invariably return to pre order. You may want to wait a week or so and check frequently to see if it comes back to Amazon. For us Canadians Amazon JP is usually the best price for MP transformers now?

Is the R club birthday voucher dead now?

Probably a silly question with TRU seemingly going out of their way to raise prices and eliminate deals/sales.

Not to be cynical, but what's the point? You get a birthday coupon to use at TRU and you're paying MSRP (at best, if we're being optimistic here).

And I'm not talking about only TFs either, I mean almost everything they carry now (either for collectors, kids or parents) is over MSRP.

We're at an all time inflation economy environment, now is when many consumers are making decisions to stretch their dollars. Or they should, at least.

Sorry, didn't see this question. The answer is yes, but it's not just now. Amazon Japan has been the best option ever since it started delivering internationally a few years ago. It's where I got all the non exclusive MPs I wanted.

On the small chance that anyone still doesn't have him, and doesn't mind TRU markup, lol

Legacy LazerOP $89.99

Check Walmart instead, they're starting to clear Laser Prime and Galvatron for $49 (in-store only so far).

Thats brutal considering Gamestop and Amazon still have it for $77 or less.

So that get product after everyone else and charge more than others, true recipe for success.

It's a bold strategy, Maple, let's see if it pays off for them.
