Same thing happened to me. Ordered a studio series on sale with some other things. Went to pick them up but he "couldn't find" the figure. I had good interactions with him before at cons and ordering from the store so I said I'd take the other figures in the order and wait for an email. Month goes by didn't hear anything so I set up a ticket. Didn't hear anything for a bit so I emailed, he apologized and said he'd still not found the figure and would asap, it I could take store credit. I wanted the figure at the time so I said I'd wait. Never heard from him. Got busy in life forgot about it and 2years later don't have the figure and it's sold out in the site.

I'd still say overall I had good interactions and would have ordered again but from everything in this thread I probably won't.

Guy takes money and then never provides product, and you guys just write it off? No wonder he's still getting away with this BS.

That's lame. The figure was like $20-$30 probably. The least he could have done was admit his wrong and refund you.

There is a perfectly reasonable fix for this. Go down to his shop and pick out a figure of equal value and bring it up to him. Place it on the floor and stomps the fuck out of it in front of him and tip your hat to him and walk out. Simple.

That totally caught me off guard. Thanks for the laugh.

Just a thought, I wonder if a bunch of people could get together, consolidate their issues, and sue the guy in small claims court for the amount owing on all their orders. Waiting 2 years on an order isn't a reasonalble time frame, at least in my eyes.
