Yeah, there were there. The presentation was the worst thing I have ever seen. The presenter had no enthusiasm for anything and kept mispronouncing names of the characters.

I wouldn't miss them if they pulled out.

I just can't shake the feeling this is the fallout of some marketing exec running the third party as a scapegoat for their incompetence. Like it's the fandom's fault and not, well, I'm sure everyone has seen that eye opening "Yellow Wall" thread.

I take back what I said, the worst thing they can do is keep bringing that guy. That guy was so dry, didn't know what he was talking about, and zoomed through slides going "PLEASE GOD KILL ME NOW!". Ok, that was an exaggeration, but he really didn't want to be there XD

In his defense, originally it was supposed to be the other rep, Courtney who was going to give the presentation, but didn't feel well that day and the presenter you saw had that cast upon him practically at the last minute...so give him a break, he didn't know he was going to do it the day before the show :P

If your going to botcon learn the big H goose step "LOL" TFCON ranks the best, something we already knew just nice to see it in print "give us your tired, your hungry, your unwanted Trans fans we'll takem all no discrimination here".

Ahh, well if that was the case then that really explains it! I kinda feel bad for bashing him now, cause he really came off as not wanting to be there, and he actually had a really good reason for it.

Pathetic. Looks like TFCon is going to be massive for the foreseeable future if this continues

Re: BotCon 2012 Policy Update Regarding Fan Art

It would seem that they are forgetting what the differences between 'Conventions' and 'Trade Shows' are supposed to be.

If they are even going so far overboard as to squash the Artist Alley stuff. They may as well just have a Trade Show and let the retailers come and look at the wares. Since there seems to be less and less for the fans.

Not cool man D: I was thinking of when im older (and I get some $$$) to sell some Prints at Botcon.

Oh well! TFcon looks like more fun and it's closer anyways.
