Re: KOToys going bye-bye.

Bye bye KO Toys, hello CHMS Henkei Purple Clone Seeker for $11.99!

Been meaning to pick this up to "compliment" my tertiary CHUG Decepticon Seeker team. Now Acid Storm and Sunstorm have...um, Hailstorm on their team. Wonder if I'll get this before Christmas. I guess I shouldn't hold my breath.

I agree with Pascal KO Toys will probably just return under another name.

The nice thing is that I can buy those KOs that I was looking for and can now pay the right price for them.

I've never bought from them, but I've heard their reputation and can't say I'm suprised

A turd is still a turd no matter how much you polish it.
Any "High Quality KO's" I've gotten from them have been floppy freaking messes.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
I got the high quality KO Constructicons (from Skylynx here, but they're the same toys) and judging by the reviews posted already, they're better than the Encore reissue. I don't know about the other G1 KOs though. Nothing bad to say about my Constructicons, as good as the real deal (actually better since all the joints are tight and the stickers perfect - had the original G1 Devy before, hated his floppyness).

I 2nd this. I also have Defensor and he is just as impressive. I still plan on getting Menasor and Superion as well.

Re: KOToys going bye-bye.

Hmmm.

Put in an order for a few things - not sure If he's getting the Dino Cassettes back in, threw them in my order anyways since the payments are processed through Paypal and I can always make a claim if something gets screwed up.

I've seen it on ebay and at ii-toy.com.

What would their "reputation" have to do with them being shut down? Hasbro only shuts down KO toy stores with bad reputations and keeps the nice ones?

Anyways, I had to bite, and ordered one of the $9.99 orange Sunstorms. I'll be interested to see if I get delivery.
