Deal of the Show!

There was many a good deal to be had at this year’s TFCon including the one I got below. As the tittle says, what was your deal of the show?

I’ll start with mine:

Takara LG 31 Fortress Maximus MISB for $280

"no tax", no one should have been charging tax unless they give a receipt with government registered tax number

Re: Deal of the Show!

Thanks to a great dude by the name of Adam in the TCG room, I was able to snag a bunch of mostly rare TCG character cards for virtually nothing. Just a really great guy all around who was helpful and respectful as I looked through his cards. Cheers! Hope everyone enjoyed the convention.

I have no idea who would have been charging tax other than maybe a larger retailer using debit or credit it is why I put some stuff up on ebay before the July 1st tax deadline and cashed out some figures.

Best part was that label was against a shelf so nobody could see it and boxes were piled on top of it making it hard to see if you were not looking for it. The no tax made me laugh I thought it was the icing on this delicious 2 foot tall cake!

Re: Deal of the Show!

Yeah no tax was great!

There was a dude with a box of Kingdom Pipes and Slammers for $20 each (no tax).
I thought that was a great deal considering retail is 35 + tax.

Those were sweet prices. Sucks when you see a deal on something you already have. Just like those $90 Rodimus Primes at Gamestop right now.
