Our 3rd (and final) subjected 14 hours of labour on my wife, resulting in an emergency C-section because the baby was in distress.
Having gone through 2 natural births (i.e., vagina tearing, bed pooping, pushing so hard she burst blood vessels in her eyes) I knew something was different from the get go.
Nothing makes you feel like a helpless husband like comforting your wife while she passes a watermelon through her yoohoo whilst enduring pain we men will never know. That's ramped up a notch when they strap her down like Christ on a cross during a C-section.
Anyways, good luck papa! Hope you enjoyed seeing your friends or eating in a restaurant in peace cos that's not happening for a while either.
Oh...and you'll never look at your wife's privates the same again. Henceforth they are simply a birthing canal and milk sacks.
