Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Oh... no. I paid 24.99, but the shelf tag said the voyagers were 29.99, so I thought I got the $5 off. You're saying there's a coupon to get an extra $5 off? So it'd be 19.99?

Yes. Only realized it today myself when I picked up the catalog.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
So apparently Marlboro is sending copyright cease and desists for American (North American?) sellers of MP-23 Exhaust due to the Marlboro green ribbon logo. BBTS has cancelled or at least postponed the preorders pending a resolution (if any).
I ordered mine through HLJ. I wonder if there will be any problems importing it...

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
I ordered mine from NY. I don't think it will be an issue with Takara or ordering from Japan.
But it could be just a case of "reverse advertising" from Marlboro...

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Anyone going to next Sunday's Retro & Relevant Toy Show ?
It's Sunday Nov.30 at Heritage Hall 3102 Main St. from 11am-3:30pm
http://retroandrelevant.com/
There will be over 40 dealer tables and around half of them are Transformers tables, so it's worth to check out for the Transformers alone. Plus lots of other action figures as well.
I will have a table there and if anyone wants anything on my huge updated sale list, let me know and I will bring it to Retro & Relevant for you. I will have other stuff not listed as well that day.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Hey guys, could use some quick advice.
Which is better to pre-order from. Amazon.com or amazon.ca?
I noticed .com has an import fee deposit but doesn't that all get reimbursed to you provided you don't get taxed?
I'm asking because the Daft Punk Alive 2007 box set is cheaper on the .com with regular shipping even in comparison to the .ca listing with FREE shipping.
But on the other hand, is there some sort of "home advantage" from preordering with .ca? If anyone knows, or if there even is one..
Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

.ca will probably arrive much faster but if .com is cheaper even with shipping costs you're probably better off with them. I wouldn't count on getting the import deposit back though.

They are both good!
If it is cheaper on .com with exchange rate shipping and duty buy from the US. I did with the last couple of books and DVD's no additional charges for me as it was mailed.
Although when you go to checkout it may tell you that you can't order a particular item form them (US) so then you will have to use Canada
