HELP! Megatron Reissue....

I just got a Reissue Megatron and there is a neon orange wooden peg glued into the gun hole. I don't have a clue has to how to how to remove it, because I don't want to put too much strain on the megatron figure, for fear of breaking it.

Anyone else hear of anything like this? Or any input and suggestions on how to remove it.

With my hands and fingers alone wit will not budge.

Try getting it nice and warm with a hair dryer.

As above, try the hair dryer. If that still doesn't work, dip in hot water for a little bit (to avoid warping of the plastic). Or if possible cut/scrape the glue out.

Maybe also post a pic of how it looks currently.
I have 2 reissue Megatrons, and none had the orange cap thingy.

Hey ultra markus andmetroplex 79. I GOT IT!

I used a pair of big vice grips and it popped out. Had to do a little clean up with an exacto knife to pretty it up..

Yeah it was one of those "open up dammint open!" moments...wasn't the first and I got a feeling it won't be the last.

Ol'Megatron is now sitting all awesome on my shelf with my other G1's.

Also this Megatron had a black head....is that how the very firsts one's looked like?

I'm assuming you have the eHobby re-issue that has the brown legs. It's based on one of the three pre-transformer versions of Megatron.

yeah thats the one I have crobot91. I really like it allot more then the silver head and stuff from the other, He looks allot more mean and menacing.

Brown legs, Black head, and black pistol barrell.

Is there a difference in one being more rare or anything like that?

Good stuff! I had to do the same when I got my MP Megatron.

was your peg wooden and painted neon orange? I got it from an online store, that's canadian and the guys is my really good bud, by allot from him on the GI JOE Side of thiings www.hubcitytoys.com

With the rest of the paint and glue around the barrel i used my really sharpe exacto knife and cleaned it up.

I'm here today with my other stuff I got, a g1 reissue, Ultra Magnus, Ironhide, and Ratchet, with 3rd party heads.

As well as Classics Skywarp, Thundercracker and Junl heap...I have the Starcream, so I have the first 3 seekers now, and a friend for my Wreck Gar!
