Podcasts #30-43 (2-9 pages of discussion, 19-84 replies, 1562-3513 views)

Podcasts #44-55 (2-3 pages of discussion, 8-27 replies, 470-1772 views)

Podcast #56 (3 pages of discussion, 28 replies, 406 views thus far)

Numbers went down after #5 post-Chris era, (equivalent of Five Faces of Darkness?)

#50 was kind of a write-off due to a couple of huge threads of the DOTM discussion, so people most likely didn't re-post their comments.

If the lack of Chris was not the cause of the low numbers, can anyone come up with a theory as to why?

(Note: I don't have iTunes, are the numbers similar there?)
Keep in mind on some factors:

1)Majority of the listeners in Episodes 30-43 also contain Members who don't Post enough anymore (Arenaroth,SoundwaveCA,Nocturn)

2)Also noticed that I Posted more with GMfan (Which became some a quasi-conversation of sorts) where sometimes malwave would join in (And a few others). However,I wasn't the only one.Chris is the type of Slag Member who would continue Posting to the point of engaging conversation throughout the Thread, where contrary to the others (Daniel,Wendel, and Phil) their Posts are quite brief and to the point. There isn't much for derailment like in past Slag Threads. You start noticing the decrease of Posts shortly after TFCon 10.

As for Episode 56,it could all be due to Ian.

Heh....I guess I got a "fan club"

I feel the love people

I'll try to be on when I can it's just catching me at the right time IE if they're recording and message me and ask if I can spare a few hours, and happen to have some free, I'll do it. School right now is intense and applying to get a job in my field is ridiculous...you have you pass 3 tests (1 written, 2 scenario based) before you even get a friggan interview! So most of my time now is just getting through this headache and once I'm hired I'll have more stability and free time to enjoy doing the things I did before starting this program.

Till then I think Ian is going to add enough crazy to fill my usual level. If there's one person that I could confidently say could, it's him

All true. As for point #2, it still means he's stoking the fires around here.

Yep, Ian, fresh blood on the Slag.

And I think Wendel spoke more on this episode than any other of the podcasts. Plus his one line got a couple of people posting. Score another for laughter.

I would go as far as "fan club", but the numbers don't lie. Year 3 of Canadian Slag hasn't been as entertaining, but still very informative and discussion oriented. I chuckled and laughed a lot more before.

Again, does anyone have the iTunes stats on this show?

I also miss the outtakes that were put at the end of an episode.

It can also be called Eastern WTF@TFW if you wish, as the main hosts are on the east side of Canada.

Plus it smells better than regular slag.

A Podcast that doesn't require circle-jerking and backslapping (I've got to stop beating that joke to death)

This is true.I can admit that Chris has a charismatic charm, yet I can't really pinpoint how (But I have a theory it may be his blue eyes that I heard about for quite some time)

Re: Canadian Slag Episode 56 - Shooting the Slag 3: With a Vengeance

Glad everyone is enjoying this past episode.

Just an FYI though, Phil hasn't left, he just wasn't able to join in for the latest episode.

Are there any topics you want us to look at/discuss moving forward?

Would you like if we covered current topics in the fandom like we did with the Botcon news or would you prefer that we focused on older subjects?

Just keep complaining about Bumblebee toys and stupid shortpacking decision from Hasbro (ONE SOUNDWAVE?!).

XD

Nah I think any current or old issue works as long as its informative.
