Well, they still need backers which looks like it has slowed down, and it should give them some time to rethink a few things. I've already said I am a backer for Haslab but I am disappointed with a few things, mainly lack of lights for the eyes. I'm not as concerned with the backpack mainly because I don't display my toys back facing to begin with. You'd think half the people here have toys all facing the wall as display. Unicrons backpack, really not an issue with me.
I think Zeta did a great job incorparating the shell into parts of Unicron to hide them, or make the feet out of. Prototypes can change and IF Haslab make the deadline, maybe threads like this will make them think about some possible changes that can be made.
I mean, it's unlikely but who knows?!

Re: haslab unicron

I remember how my dad's eyes popped back in 1985 when the price tag for an Optimus Prime was around CAD45 in Hong Kong, which is around CAD100 in today's dollars.

It's amazing how far things have come. Who would have thought that a company will even think a CAD1,000 toy robot has a business case?

Your Dad's eyes should have popped out, because the retail price for him was $20 Can. at that time.

I already put my deposit down for the Zeta. I'm not going to pay $900 for a Hasbro Seige figure. Don't really understand your assumption.
