Hasbro Year of the Horse Optimus Prime

Not fugly at all!
But "Galvatron" needs trailer-
warily sold Prime.


Initial pics of GoldenPrime really put me off on the colour scheme. The gold was garish and the paint job screamed "TFA Optimus" (which isn't a bad thing really). But...dat trailer! I found something badass for "10B Galvy" to tow! I toyed (see what I did there?) with chrome tanker trailers but couldn't get the scaling right.

Inhand HorseyPrime was more impressive than anticipated. Yes, the gold was abit much but in the end he's an MP10-er which you really can't go wrong with no matter the colour scheme (Talkin' 'bout you, EVA and BAPE Prime). As for the trailer - pop off the Autobot shields, slap on some 'Con faction stickers in their place et voilÃ*, Galvy's got one sweet phantomy haul! One day I'll get around to removing the Horse/Autobot logo on the rear hatch doors. Perhaps I'll borrow Lord President Business' Po-leesh Remover of Nayeel (Times I've viewed The LEGO Movie thanks to my kids: 13)

So with some reluctance I sold off BlingyPrime at cost to a fellow local Boardie.
