Walmart returned all my money on my Velocitron Speedia 500 collection early this morning. Order still says pending and no cancellation emails.
So fingers crossed they still ship.

Wanna bet the original Sept 26 or whenever it was will still stand and the Aug 4 emails was a miscommunication as it seems only Hauler and Override came out around them.

Gah! This has been a very frustrating experience, from start to finish.

Walmart's been a frustrating experience for all their exclusives for several years now. They seem to short-stock almost all of them except the Retro Beast Wars stuff. The website never has reliable order/pre-order options, cancellations are frequent, store stock is usually borderline non-existent and in the end you're mostly stuck hoping that the fates smile on you one random time you visit a store or check the website. Otherwise it's off to eBay and the exorbitant markups people charge for all the stuff they know everyone wants but no one got.

Have never pre-ordered from Walmart. Thanks for the reality of the situation info. Appreciated. That said, no one should ever EVER pay a cent over retail on eBay, of all places. It's a fools errand. Maybe I'm just to the point of thinking maybe we shouldn't lose our minds over an overpriced toy.

In store Walmarts are selling Legacy G2 Prime and Galvatron for $49.00. Seems to be in-store only.
