Don't forget that for those of us who bought Deluxe Passes with advanced entry got screwed too. We were supposed to be in 2 hrs earlier than everyone else and by the time the line got to the doors they were already letting general admission in.

That happened to me last year. I went to a panel but didn't get back into the dealer room till a good 45 minutes...missed the Brad Swalie autograph session cause of it.

My cousin and his pal wanted to leave for lunch, but when we saw the massive lineup to get back in, we decided to stay. So in a way we were trapped. I had some snacks in my bag, but it was in no way a lunch. They broke down and bought the pricy crepes.

This was the first time I was not able to enjoy a burger and fries from the trucks outside in 10 years. Man, the gravy on the fries are soooooo good.

Leaving a celeb panel was also insane, took forever to get back up to the dealer room.

Either way, I'm packing a lunch this time.

What did they do to apologize for last year? Raise the prices for this year

The FanExpo appreciation event was free to get in, so I think that might've been their appology for how bad things went last year LOL.

But yeah, after seeing how craaaaaaazy the food lines were and how crazy expensive food was there...I'll be packing a lunch as well.

Spoke to a few dealers at TFCON that claimed they would be at FanExpo with exclusives in tow.

I'll also be there doing double duty for ShelfLife with some cool stuff for the TF, SW, GIJOE, 3A fans.

Whomever is attending, are you guys commuting each day you attend? Staying at a hotel?

I'm only going Friday. I feel that FanExpo is one of those conventions where you really don't have to go all four days...especially if you're local.

That said, I'll be taking the TTC.

If I'm able to get the deluxe pass, sure. But since they're limited and with my luck, I doubt it.

Even though it's 2 days away, for some reason I'm not as enthusiastic as previous years.

Hopefully I'll see some of you there.
