I would have put money on it being at least $500Cdn after the recent pricing trends, and what they asked for MP-44.
However I am glad to see I was wrong. Even though I am out of the MP game, and I love my Siege Jetfire, this is definitely tempting.

Just curious. What makes this three times better than the already excellent Siege? Ok I read up on it. It's nice that it comes with mini figures and opening cockpit and hatches. But I'm more than ok with Siege and I get this is for premium collectors. I'm waiting for the Nemesis for my next big purchase lol which will still be way less than this.

You're paying for the size, and die cast parts, cartoon accuracy, and to scale with the rest of the recent G1 masterpieces.
So it looks like this TF is not for you.

Yup. I don't collect Masterpiece. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Mostly budgetary for me. If the regular figure is satisfying, which for me Siege Jetfire is, I'm good.

Re: Transformers Masterpiece MP-57 Skyfire Official Reveal & Images
Alfred Hitchcock once said that a film should be no longer than the average person can hold their bladder.
Well, my Siege figure fits perfectly the height of a Detolf shelf. Any taller, and it would need to be elsewhere. This is why I don't own any Titans, and my Devastator stays in a box most of the time.
I've never been an exact scale collector, because that would drive me up a wall.
This new Jetfire is really nice, I can't wait to watch the transformation to see if it does anything new or interesting. I'd say it's more aimed at competing with Phoenix than with Siege. I think the MP is shorter than Phoenix, but also cheaper.
This looks great though. It's a good addition to the MP lineup, but I don't feel the need to replace my Siege figure, even though I have actually owned every official Jetfire figure since the G1, Classics, and Generations Leader.
