Same for me, 300$ is just a heartbreaking no.. I bought the Ark for 132$ (that is with taxes) last year when it went on sale... Almost a 1/3 of the price... Going to hope for a similar sale.

Same opinion as most of you: too expensive for a not that good looking robot mode.

Speaking for myself, $300 is a price point, as a single purchase, that is getting too close to other stuffs that I want and are holding off buying.

Unlike Legacy Metroplex, who was very easy to wait on until it was much cheaper, I really want Nemesis to go with the Ark but knowing how these general release titans discount I'm pretty hesitant to pre-order.

Walmart website has a third party at $45, but I think they will restock this guy by summer. Ss86 ironhide was awol for months but is now being sighted frequently as an example.

I've seen this same sentiment on Twitter too, and I wanted to share a couple of thoughts.

Nemesis is significantly more expensive than the Ark, and while folks are chalking this up to inflation or Hasbro greed, another factor could be production size. The Ark sat on shelves in a lot of places, so Hasbro might have seen fit to reduce the production size of Nemesis by a several thousands of units to more properly meet demand. If the initial round of stock did indeed sell out on Amazon, this could also be indicative of a smaller production run.

Not trying to be alarmist or get people to rush to buy something they won't find worthwhile - just wanted to propose a theory behind what we are seeing.

Just got a cancellation message for my order for Legacy Shrapnel.

Snarl popping up elsewhere is nudging me towards looking at other retailers too, in case the same happens again.
