Re: Value Village: what are your Transformers findings?

If anyone is interested I found the most expensive item of all time at Value Village in Brantford. They have a boxed Tyco Transformers Train set in the front case that I was all set to pounce on until I saw the price tag of $349.99!!!!!!!! I didn't even bother to ask to see if it was complete for that joke of a price.

Where do they get these prices from? I haven't even seen a Buy It Now on ebay that high. That's utter insanity.

Overall last year picked up "2" G1 figures Razorclaw and Sideswipe, decals were worn.

Also picked upin Boxes a Energon Landmine, and a Depthcharge repaint from Beast Wars

Ouch!
Maybe a worker wanted it and the manager said, "If it isn't sold in 1 month, then it's yours."

So he, ...*priced* it.

There was an Armada Overload at the Bank Street VV yesterday, but it was sold before I could get there to look at it. I got excited when I saw a beast wars dinobot....but it was missing its head and tail

Yeah, I've been wanting one of those since the damn thing came out, but I'd only ever pay that much if it was totally 100% complete AND the box would have to be immaculate!

If you left it you will feel silly later when you find another with the head and tail but no arms

Today I got a Hasbro MP Prime with no head. Does have its gun but no other goodies.
