More Haul Reportage...
Yesterday I found a lot of Joe Pursuit of Cobra toys. Seeing them in person made me want them, sadly I didn't have enough for the awesomesauce that is Cobra Commander.
Or the Lego Mini-Figures Series 2 stuff I wanted.
So my haul from yesterday was...

Went back to Regent Wal-Mart today... Pursuit of Cobra was ransacked! Which SUCKS! No Cobra Commander.
No Alley Viper
Not even Firefly
could have got Storm Shadow because those accessories of his really ROCK! But I wanted a character I don't have yet in RoC from PoC. So I decided I'd hit another store.
Regent Superstore in the middle of Renovations... Fine... No tax day... Great... WTF!
No more Boys Toys on the shelf, the shelf is actually GONE entirely, no hope of getting anything Tax Free.
TRU Regent... Loads of nifty figures, fudge... Oh by the way Wal-Mart Regent had three whole boxes of Series 2 yesterday afternoon. Today, only one meager looking box left and someone's kids had ripped open all the bags to see who was in it. Wasn't about to pay for opened merchandise at full price or hassle the cashiers to get a discount when it's possible some of the pieces could have been removed.
Anyway, back to TRU and the reason for the Fudge. Budget was 15$ max. TRU Deluxe ROTFs still at 9.98$ a piece so no go on getting two today.
But Anyway I digress... Picked up RPMs Megatron and Deluxe Stalker Scoroponok.
So all in all the past two days I got a grand total of three new toys and two chocolate bars. On the plus side I got to strike up a conversation with a pleasent female collector who was buying HA Jazz, SeaSpray and... You know I can't remember who the third one was only that it was HftD packaging.
Same fan who went to last years comic con and stopped by Mister Milne's table dressed up as Cheetara I think - sounded and looked the same sans-makeup of course. She went to TRU too, but I got there as she was leaving so I couldn't bring up the Fan Club or ask if she even frequents these boards. Oh well I'm sure she'll be at this years Con.
Today wasn't a total waste.
