Has someone ever try to ripped you off on TF, or sell you KO TF?
I personally haven't haven't had that happen yet knock on wood . However you guys and girls proabably have more stories than me. But yah feel to share, if anything come to my mind I will write it down. Personally I proabably bought was sold something that I thought to be TF when i was younger till I knew better now. But still have to ask around if I am not sure about something.

Only once, someone tried to sell me a KO Devastator as the real deal and acted like he didn't know what he had when I pointed it out..... he claimed he had it as a child..... right.......
So yeah, I crippled him. Sorry John, you just don't mess around like that.

People have sold me knockoffs, but they've been up front about it before. And these were really weird, easily identifiable knockoffs, nothing like the originals.

yeah that happen to me. I bought a brand new Japan version of powermaster OP sealed. It was sealed but by the seller. Upon further inspection I noticed scatches on OP's Cab looking through the window. So I contacted paypal and filed a claim and got my money back. I never did hear from the seller and because of that I got to keep the used PM OP aswell.

yup.good ol tim......
i paid the guy 300 bucks for a "supposedly" complete g1 scorponok.i get home and lo and behold, lord zarak is a knock off,and even then,HE'S MISSING HIS RIGHT ARM TOO!!!serious wtf????so i go back there and inform him about the ko and he say he'll give me store credit ....this is when i lost it and started causing a scene.in the end i got my money back and heck,i even chat with the guy from time to time, but if i ever do buy anything from him ever since,i always check everything,if it's supposedly mib or misb,i'll still open it before i hand over the coinage.personally,i got nothing against the guy and he's actually pretty nice if you get to know him,but his astronomical pricing is really out to lunch and recently i even heard in a thread in here that he was trying to bs somebody by thelling them that the g1 dinobots "combine" just to get a sale??wtf??ah well....lesson learned.

Tim needs his own thread.
I've been burned before at toy shows, mostly buying combiners that are supposedly complete. Get home and go through the bag only to find out one or two small pieces are missing. Irritating!

...each time I go to Pacific Mall or any Chinatown and look at their KOs, they try to push me to buy them
Also, when i was 9, I bought a fake BW Dinobot because they claimed it was real and I was a kid that didn't know better back then

Re: Has someone ever try to ripped you off on TF, or sell you KO TF?
I won an auction on eBay from wheeljackslab. The auction was for the right/left arm and gun for scamper. While I thought the prices were expensive to start, after he told me the shipping was going to be like $40. Usd for three little pieces of plastic. Well I am the type of guy who sticks to his word "no matter the cost" (couldn't resist the pun) and was willing to greviously over pay for these pieces. Luckily he ended up not having the gun and we nullified the deal. Why he would auction something he did not have is beyond me but...
