it looks promising but the price makes me think twice since maybe this would have lotsa PVC in it instead of the die cast parts that would make it heavy. (im a die cast junky. )

Waste of money in my opinion whether you have a previous MP Optimus or not... $250?!?!?! WTF Takara...??? STOP WITH THE MP OPTIMUS'!!!!! WHO THINKS THIS IS A GOOD IDEA OVER THERE?!?!?!
This is the equivalent to "More Cowbell" expect not as funny... I'd buy it if Optimus was a triple changer and also transformerd into Christopher Walken though.

^^ Convoy is a VERY popular character over in Japan. Unlike Galvatron, who is very unpopular.
I was really hoping for a Ginrai, actually. Hopefully this mould is what will give us a proper Ultra Magnus = White Prime with Trailer Armor instead of just the white Prime..

I did not want to like this figure... But damn it looks good. I'll just have to keep in mind that the quality of the masterpieces has gone down and that this could be one of the worst... Yeah that'll help.

Looks nice and I like the possibility of a real Untra Magnus, but I just can not justify another 250 optimus prime.

I really like it.
The style and alt mode are perfect. I wish it were a bit bigger, and with die cast for the price tag.
Sadly though this is a luxury item out of my price range. Put the Hasbro version out for $80.... sure. Of course they are going to cut the stacks.
