No definitely this one is the stuff. It's perfect to me in con mode. I meant that the Takara Masterpiece brand doesn't have one that's what I think a Masterpiece should be.

X-Transbots has nailed Megatron with this one. Masterpiece may as well just move right on to Galvatron and try getting it right before someone else does.

Nope TT better come out with a new MP megs as i have Apollyon and it is good but will never and i mean never be as good imo as an official MP 2.0 megs

I ws just looking at TFC and i have to say that this looks way better i hate eveything there is about the TFC one mostly the legs and shoulder

I do think the the image on the right looks WAY better too. Sadly, Ironhide was always that character that had botched proportions in the show. Sometimes he looks broad chested, and others he looked like a big fatty.

Agree wholeheartedly that the mock up image on the right is a huge improvement and what we ought to have to be considered MP grade. My initial reactions to the unveiling photos when looking at him straight on was "does he have man boobs or a fat gut?"

In comparison to TFC's offering, I would much rather
have that because even if the shoulders are a little too broad, at least he looks beefy (which I believe that's how he should appear) instead of an out of shape retiree.

I agree, he should be stocky and tough looking, not worn out like in the comics.

Is it do to his beefy protrayal on Bayverse most likley for me, where when I think of ratchet my mingd goes directly to Animated/Primes character an old crotchety man.

It's funny with some of/ (certain) g1 characters I refer to other shows for there reconized /preffered personalities/looks.


With all that being said I'm still leaning towards 3P's aesthectics than the tak issue, other than price. This is a tough one for me on which to get

I think Takara's looks the best, although the red could be a bit darker

I agree the first side by side the right side looks better but that last one with the 3rd party ones.... they look terrible. Takara is the only choice from those imo
