That depends, are they PCC figures? And if so, I fail to see why they'd jump the price an extra 3$ just for the Mini-Con.
I prefer my prices to remain uniform, especially when the Canadian Dollar is at par and looks to stay that way for the foreseeable future. But I suppose we're going to be stuck with inflated prices everywhere even if the Loonie stays at par for three + years.
I suppose it's better than what Superstore will most likely charge. (Ten to five it's around the 15-16$ mark.) Seriously what happened to Superstore? Did they just decide "We can't compete anymore, so why bother?" hence the drastic increase in deluxe pricing compared to Zellers, TRU and Wal-Mart?
I digress. If we're also getting the G1 Legends Devy that's good, I'll have two for my Movie shelf and won't have to pay crazy import prices/fees to get him.
I don't know how big Battlefield Bumblebee is, but 70$ seems a tad high for a figure that's basically an upscaled Alternator... Pascal help me out, isn't he like as tall as an Ultra? Of course if he has a lot of expensive Electronics in him I could see where he might need to be higher than an Ultra price wise, but to slap on a Leader price point for him??? (I wasn't planning on buying him anyway, but I can see a lot of people claiming they'll wait for a sale for this guy at that price point.)
And by the way, didn't we already have confirmation that we'd be seeing some of these in May and the rest in June? I mean that's why Wal-Mart had all those rollbacks, to make some space for the new stuff, right? I was kinda hoping I'd have my Classics Thrust in June, not... Well in Undetermined. LOL
