Thanks for joining us as we revealed a bunch of upcoming TF stuff! I saw some questions popping up in various places and I’m going to do what I can to answer. I’m going to start with SS Core Rumble (blue). The infinite transformer debate on what color this character is supposed to be, haha. Since this is studio series, we followed the colors he had in » Continue Reading.

Re: Studio Series 86 Core Rumble Behind the Scenes
Previous version was so stubby and short.
This one looks better proportioned.
Still teeny tiny, but to fit in the little chest of Soundwave and Blaster, it is what it is.
I wonder how similar the pile drivers are to the MP mold. Also, once you go MP, you can't really go back...

I can't believe they got this to fit into deluxe Soundwave. Looking good!

Well with the price point these CHUG figures are getting to, may as well start going with MP. There's also a KO set for the 6 MP Soundwave tapes and it's like $50.

Re: Studio Series 86 Core Rumble Behind the Scenes
I was hoping that they'd do something like they did for the unreleased RTS Rumble where they gave him an actual altmode and integrated his pile-drivers. I know that's unlikely with Studio Series' philosophy of show-accuracy at any cost, but I've already got enough tapes for my Soundwave so I was hoping for something different for the humanoid minions.

I got the THF set a couple years ago, so much better than the siege tapes. Price gone up a little but $40-50 for 6 tapes is still a good deal. Not a big deal to me it doesn't fit in soundwave
