Re: Fanstoys Soar

mine required an adjustment on the right leg because it was insanely stiff. During assembly I think the inner black tab was misaligned, but once corrected it works perfectly. The gold tabs do make me nervous but I don't transform often (if at all) so I can avoid them. I most likely won't touch him again till Server comes out

Re: Fanstoys Soar

My leg joint was stiff as well but with a little play i was able to get it in the correct position but as others said after that mine were fine the only problem i have with mine is that my gold chrome head has minor scratches on it not that big of a deal though.

If you ordered from Chimungmung talk to Tony. I emailed him a couple of days ago because I over tightened the shoulder screws on Scoria and stripped them out so the arm won't stay on. He contacted Fans Toys and had the replacement part on its way the same day.

Re: Fanstoys Soar

Thanks for that info that's awesome to keep for future reference.I didn't order from him however and don't wish to state right now who i ordered from as it's not their fault(they didn't assemble it) and don't want to be seen as badmouthing them in any way.

Re: Fanstoys Soar

This is a rare assembly issue but someone else did reported the same issue over at TFW a couple weeks ago. Fans Toys have asked that all issues be reported to your retailer and they will mail them the replacement parts. Tony got me my Scoria parts no questions asked so I wouldnt worry. FT takes care of their fans. Just provide a picture (with labels if helpful). Hopefully your retailer is willing to inform FT about yourn problem though. If not, then I would contact them directly. But only as a last resort.

Re: Fanstoys Soar

It should. Your pic is quite clear. Just be forewarned, Fans Toys only just released Soar so your part will likely not be sent anytime soon. The same thing happened when Scoria was released. They will likely wait for all the reports to come in to get an idea of what parts they need to produce. IIRC it took about one to two months before Scoria parts were mailed out but they delivered on their promise.

Re: Fanstoys Soar

Well the waitings gonna suck but at least i'll eventually get the part.In the meantime Soar stays boxed as can't use in either mode. That part won't allow flattening of leg bits for robot mode and can't bend it backwards for alt mode. Thanks again for the info.
