Canadian toy stores need to get there acts together so we don't have to. Shopping in Canada for transformers over the past year has been a joke. what happened to all the lost prime waves.

i did, until it was costing me around 25% more per figure compared to out of country. case in point:

tfc hercules in canada: total was $720+ shipped for the complete set

captured prey: $570 shipped, i bought 6 figures from them over the course of a couple months,

$150 is enough to make me think twice

It's weird, everyone complains about customs taxes but I've never had to pay them unless I ordered something like $200 or more. I've ordered City Commander, which was $130 from BBTS once and didn't get hit. As well as PE Reflector for $90. I prefer ordering off BBTS because I can easily cancel or change my mind later while most other sites discourage cancelling pre-orders. Especially since I'm waiting to see if I like the Takara versions better.

That is fine, but when you can get it for 20.00 cheaper and most likley not have to pay customs then most people will buy the cheapest, especially if it's the exact same item.

On that note, I try to buy made in North America, but it is almost getting impossible, seeing all companies manufacture off shore, and even now made in the USA may not actually mean made in USA.

Even TF's are made in China

Buy if you can and keep your neighbour employed
