Calgary ONLY: FT05 Soar Swoop - Broken Arm

Hey guys...I have a broken FansToys FT05 Soar aka Dinobot Swoop for sale on Kijiji. http://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details....Activated=true

It is opened but new, never transformed, never used, never removed from styrofoam except for taking pictures. I have everything it came with: box, accessories, instructions, everything.

As you can see in the picture (click kijiji link to see), the arm is broken off. It arrived in the mail last week and upon opening it, I was horrified to find that the arm was broken right off. Everything else looks great. This arm can not be reattached without some work. The plastic piece that holds it into the shoulder socket is broken, Superglue is not an option.

You are buying AS-IS. Price is pretty firm as I am trying to recoup my loses

Not sure where you purchased it from but this was clearly opened and broken by the previous owner. FT made these joints so tight, i can see how this might have happened if someone tries to reef on it hard enough. mine were so tight, they screeched when moved. I applied silicone grease to get them to loosen up.

Anyways, not sure if you want to salvage this but this is easily fixable. All you need is the part. Contact dalianjj at TFW2005 and explain to him with a picture what happened. He should be able to help you out. Replacing the part is super easy.

Hey guys...thanks for the tip about contacting the Dalian and my seller.
I asked seller to take one of his FT05 apart and ship me the connector piece. He said he can't. He is an eBay seller from China.

Dalianjj...I’ll try him next.

It's a super easy fix if I have the part.

This FT05 was brand new. I looked at the packaging, the tape, etc. It was not opened before.

This is my third FT dinobot. I'm familiar with the quality and the squeak joints that they seem to all have.

Dalianjj will hook you up, he's done it for me a couple times now where I've received replacement parts and even free upgrade parts from a CDN retailer that I didn't even do business with, just be nice in your request and I'm sure you'll be more than happy ! Good Luck !

Just curious. Was the tape on the styrofoam inserts compromised? They started using styrofoam and tape inside to seal the figure starting from this release. That's just crazy if this was packed like this at the factory.

The FT-branded tape was not compromised, not on the exterior box, or the three layers of styrofoam.

Notice the black plastic shoulder connector. It is totally in pieces. It was such an odd break.

I am waiting for dalianjj to reply to my pm. I really hope he can help.
