Re: who else is a little disappointed about Steelcore
I'm not disappointed in Steelcore at all, I love the figure. Simple or complex transformation doesn't really bother me. I'm really looking forward to the trailer and the rest of FansProjectCore figures. Oh that Assaulter...

Re: who else is a little disappointed about Steelcore
I love mine. Complex transformations can be fun some times but I don't need one to enjoy a figure. I can completely live without die cast too. It's fine when it's there and I understand it's necessary but it doesn't make and average figure into a good figure. I'm not even sure I want a trailer to be honest. Steelcore is fine on his own but my opinion likely could change when I actually see the trailer.

Re: who else is a little disappointed about Steelcore
Well...as with all FP stuff, it's great, I love it, it will be a corner stone in my collection. I like that it's more playable than the Insecticons...as much as I love those sclupt, they get more 'displayed than played'.
So the figure is great...
But I didn't enjoy the experience of getting Steelcore. Sure, ordering was great, being a member, getting a good price...but the fact people were getting it at TF Con and it took weeks after people started getting theirs for mine to arrive left me with a 'meh' feeling...
But that will fade. And in many ways I don't 'blame' FP--the sad thing is they were trying to do the right thing...it just backfired. They tried to release early, they tried to get extras in fans hands--but the results of receiving the orders ended up uneven and dissatisfying.
Knowing FP, it will be better next time. They have my 100% loyalty regardless.

Re: who else is a little disappointed about Steelcore
I was a little on the fence at first but after really looking at him and knowing how well done my other FP figures were done I had to pull the trigger. Glad I did.
