That's what I thought as well, but decided to check eBay (sold items) and it is a bit on the high end, but not totally out there for pricing.
Looking at eBay (March/Apr/May) loose, complete sold from the $50s up to a few highs around $90.
MISB went from $70s, all the way up to one that sold for $150. Most fell in the $90-$110 range. There were only a few above $100, and a bit more on the $70-$90 range.
So it does seem a little on the high end, but not that far out.

May I suggest posting on the buy or wanted forums here on Cybertron with a future need, because I suspect one of our board members would have been able to get you a better price. Glad you were able to get the toy though.

I was responding to Vrillon77's post about what he paid for Siege Shockwave. However yeah it is always a good idea to look online before buying.
I got him at TRU when he was in sale for $35-$40(?). I don't remember the exact price, but I remember it was a good sale.

Yeah, I wish I was collecting at the time of its original release because I heard it shelfwarmed and you could get it at discounted leader prices. I only got back into collecting towards the end of Kingdom so I missed out on a lot.

Ahh I see, interesting. I don't order that often from .com, so this is the first time I saw it.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll have to keep that in mind for next time. My current go-to spots are amazon, gamestop, and ebay, so always good to have more options.

Man I'll never not be jealous of all of y'all that managed to pinch Siege Shockwave when Siege was clearance-ing out
I was planning to skip him, but figured for $39 I'd bite, and never found him during that window, damn it

Yep, that's when I got him. I think it was $39.99. I got him and Megatron who was either $19.99 or $24.99 and those were the first two modern transformations I've purchased. Now, I'm all in with the G1 figures anyways. Wish I got into them pre-Kingdom though. Missed out on Astrotrain, Sunstreaker, Optimus, Hoist, Trailbreaker, Soundwave, Red Alert and others. Not to mention Studio Grimlock and Slag.

That's the MSRP. It has been that price, but only when it's actually coming from Amazon. Right now, it's coming from a third party vendor and fulfilled by Amazon.
