Re: Northmen Collectibles NMC Toys - not impressed

Also remember that the police consider this a civil matter and won't intervene unless clear criminal behaviour can be shown.

I mean look at all the general contractors that get away with not doing work and taking people's money for tens (hundreds) of thousands of dollars. Those guys get away with screwing over people and nothing gets done by the police. You have to take them to court, and then of course good luck getting any money if you win.

What he is doing is illegal, but does not meet the level of criminal for the legal system (police/courts) to do anything unless people come forward. Again though, the problem is that the system doesn't treat it as criminal at first. They see it as civil and only get involved criminally if there is enough evidence/pressure.

I have no idea how some people praise this store. Every single one of his "new arrivals" have been pegwarming for months or on sale elsewhere now.
He's 100% scouring the Toys R Us sales bins. Even then, it seems like a terrible business plan. If no one wanted the Rose Tico Black Series figure at Toys R Us, I'm not sure why he thinks they'd want to buy them from him. I guess that store credit has to go toward something and if he's got a shitty in-stock selection, people are hosed one way or another.
But you're right. And it also seems like he's gotten himself into a sort of ponzi scheme situation where he's using preorder money from new orders to fulfill older orders, leaving him in a bigger and bigger hole.
I hope he has to declare bankruptcy soon and it couldn't happen to a bigger sack of garbage

So did Hasbro blacklist NMC Toys? There is nothing new. They probably got tired of him blaming them for delays.

I don't think it was Hasbro as much as it was his supplier (Diamond).

FYI, address had been removed from his business on Google, and his social media accounts haven't posted or been replied since May. Probably getting evicted from his warehouse address.

Any day now.

I feel bad for the people who's constantly been replying to old social media posts about their orders since 2020-present, their chances of a chargeback or any money back gets slimmer and slimmer by the days.

I dropped out of the Facebook group because of people talking about crossing the line to deal with him.

There were a few hot heads who wanted to personally meet him, but they don't condone violence.

One person is in the process of taking him to small claims court of some sort.
